Other Repair Service and Technical Support

Tech Connect consultants at The Cornell Store are not authorized by the manufacturers to provide technical support for their products; however, they are always happy to assist you in locating the best place to get your questions answered. They have compiled this quick guide to assist you in finding repair service for your computer or answers to your technical questions. Support for Campus Computing

Cornell Information Technologies (CIT) manages the campus network and computer services for students, faculty, and staff. The IT Service Desk can assist with questions or problems regarding Wi-Fi connectivity (eduroam, etc.), or any other centrally-supported services.

1 Manufacturer's warranties do not cover problems related to software or configuration and do not cover backup or restoration of data or applications.

2 All non-warranty computer repairs will be charged a minimum diagnostic fee. This diagnostic fee will be applied to the final cost of repair.

3 Dell and Lenovo models not purchased from The Technology Connection may come with a depot or mail-in warranty. These computers cannot be serviced at Cornell.
